4 ways with Uno

Most people have a set of Uno cards in their house, here is a great EYFS maths activity for those who are yet to play Uno as the gam

Colour matching - encourage your child to put the cards in the correct colour pile.

Number matching - encourage your child to place all the cards of the same number together


Uno 'pairs' set out the cards face down and take turns to find the Uno pairs. Either colour and number matching or only colours or numbers.



Simple addition or subtraction sums.



Number sequencing - ask your child to put the cards in numerical order, counting on and back. (1-9/9-1)
